Instagram does not provide a complete historical unfollower list. To identify an unfollower, the tool needs a complete follower list from two different points in time.
An account present in Monday's complete snapshot but missing from Friday's complete snapshot can be reported as no longer present. The first snapshot is only the baseline, so tracking cannot reach back before it was created.
Follower-count change alone is not enough: an account can gain 100 followers and lose 50 at the same time. Identity-level comparison still finds those 50 unfollows even though the total count increased.

Tracking
Paid plans unlock identity-level comparison and CSV within a Tracking Credits capacity.
One Tracking plan covers both Follower Tracker and Unfollower Tracker. Your Tracking Credits (1 Credit per 10 monitored followers) are shared across both tools, and the same profile never occupies capacity twice.

Tracking Pro Yearly
$290/year
Yearly subscription
500 Tracking Credits — Monitor up to 5,000 followers
The same identity-level tracking features and capacity as Tracking Pro, billed yearly. Tracking Credits are occupied only while you monitor a profile and are released when you stop tracking it.
Tracking Credits are occupied by the combined current follower count of your actively monitored profiles (10 followers per Credit) and released when you stop tracking a profile. They are not spent per snapshot. Manual identity-level refreshes are available at least 24 hours apart.
Public profiles work without an Instagram password or account connection.
Private follower lists are not accessed or inferred.
Only two complete identity snapshots can produce an unfollower result.
Download real available diff results in a spreadsheet-safe format.
An unfollower can only be identified by comparing two complete follower snapshots. Your first check creates the baseline; a later complete snapshot can show which stable account identities are no longer present. Tracking cannot reconstruct unfollows from before the baseline was created.
A new follower-list refresh is available after 24 hours. Weekly checks are a practical cadence: check again each week to compare complete follower snapshots without promising real-time monitoring.
No Instagram login or password is required for supported public profiles. The tool reads public follower-list data without connecting to your Instagram account.
No. Private account follower lists are not publicly available, so the tool stops after the profile check and does not start a follower-list traversal.
No. Enter a supported public Instagram username and the tool creates follower snapshots directly. There is no ZIP export or manual file comparison step.
Yes with a paid Tracking plan. When two complete snapshots produce a real identity-level difference, the available unfollower result can be downloaded as CSV. Incomplete or failed snapshots never produce an unfollower CSV.
Instagram may limit follower-list visibility for some profiles. If we cannot verify two complete follower snapshots, we do not generate an unfollower list because missing data could otherwise be mistaken for unfollows.
Start with a public profile today, then check again later to compare complete snapshots.
